President Tinubu Appoints APC Officials as Board Chairmen of Federal Institutions

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of key officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka and 19 state chairmen, as board chairmen of various federal institutions. The announcement was made by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

Morka has been appointed Chairman of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), while Hon. Fatuhu Buhari will serve as Director-General of the National Agricultural Seed Council. Other appointees include APC state chairmen who will lead strategic agencies across multiple sectors, including agriculture, health, education, research, and media.

Notable appointments include Muhammad Massan (Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute), Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas (Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service), Dr. Austian Agada (National Agricultural Seed Council), and Chief Emma Eneukwu (National Automotive Development Council). Others will oversee institutions such as the National Library of Nigeria, Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, National Orthopaedic Hospital, Nigerian Coal Corporation, and Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria.

The Presidency stated that these appointments aim to strengthen government institutions and improve service delivery by placing experienced party loyalists and technocrats in key leadership roles.
