Religious leaders in Osun state have been reportedly urged by theDepartment of State Services (DSS) to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activities to security agencies.

The warning was issued as part of efforts to prevent possible attacks by s by suspected terrorists to attack worship centres in the state and strengthen security around religious gatherings.
The development comes amid heightened concerns over the safety of worshippers and public spaces across the country. Security agencies are expected to increase surveillance and take preventive measures to protect religious centres.
The DSS has also advised religious communities to cooperate with security authorities and avoid panic while remaining alert. Worshippers are encouraged to report unusual movements or suspicious persons around their places of worship.
