Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo recently revealed beingsubjected to threats, bullying, and defamation by her former manager, Ezekiel Onyedikachi (EeZee Tee). In an emotional Instagram video, she described how his actions forced her to relocate from Lagos to Port Harcourt.

Chinwo accused EeZee Tee of seizing her royalties for two years and spreading false information, including allegations about the paternity of her son. She claimed he paid bloggers to spread rumors that Pastor Nathaniel Bassey fathered her child due to his personal dislike for Bassey.
The conflict reportedly escalated after Chinwo refused to extend her five-year contract to 12 years in 2019. EeZee Tee allegedly filed a lawsuit against Chinwo and fellow gospel singer JudiKay while portraying himself as the victim on social media.
In April 2024, Nathaniel Bassey sought legal action against four individuals who accused him of fathering Chinwo’s child. Chinwo’s lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, highlighted EeZee Tee’s continued efforts to intimidate and isolate the singer. Chinwo emphasized enduring years of harassment and oppression in the industry.
