Governor Fubara Pledges Humility and Commitment on 50th Birthday

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, celebrated his 50th birthday at the Government House in Port Harcourt, assuring stakeholders of his continued humility and dedication to the state’s development.

Fubara vowed not to let power change him, promising to uphold his respect for God and the people while fulfilling his mandate to transform Rivers State.

Expressing gratitude, Fubara noted that the gathering of state leaders to celebrate him moved him to tears. He affirmed his intention to maintain integrity and avoid actions that would disgrace his administration or supporters.

Former Governor Sir Celestine Omehia praised Fubara for delivering the state from destructive forces, while former PDP Chairman Prince Uche Secondus commended his resilience and faith amidst political distractions. Prayers, birthday songs, gift presentations, and a cake-cutting ceremony marked the celebration.

The governor thanked his wife, Lady Valerie, and attendees for their support, pledging to continue prioritizing unity and progress for Rivers State.
