Cross dresser Bobrisky has been sentenced to 6 months in jail without the option of fine for Abuse of the Naira. In court, Bobrisky declared himself as male when questioned about his gender.
The judge emphasized that sentencing Idris Olarewaju Okuneye to prison for misusing the Nigerian Currency aims to discourage others from engaging in Naira abuse.
Bobrisky was later directed to serve his prison sentence at the Ikoyi Correctional Facility.
