Media personality Toke Makinwa has expressed strong disapproval of Nigerian music legend 2Baba (2face Idibia) following his controversial divorce announcement concerning his marriage to actress Annie Idibia.
Toke criticized 2Baba on Instagram, calling his actions “wrong on all levels” and expressing support for Annie. She further warned that women staying silent on such issues risk similar consequences affecting their daughters or female relatives.
This backlash came after 2Baba admitted to personally posting the divorce statement despite initially claiming his account was hacked. Toke, who has herself experienced public marital struggles after divorcing Maje Ayida in 2015 over infidelity, pledged to stand with Annie in the ongoing saga.
