Yo Biild S Dtronger Nigeria, Governor Muftwang Tender Apologises To Igbos Over Civil War On Behalf Of Plateau

Governor Caleb Muftwang of Plateau State, on behalf of platesu state has apologised to the Igbo community for the suffering they endured during the Nigerian Civil War, acknowledging the painful experiences many families faced during the conflict. He said the apology reflects a commitment to healing, reconciliation, and national unity.

The governor recognised the contributions of the Igbo people to the development of Plateau State and Nigeria, describing them as hardworking and resilient. He stressed the importance of confronting historical grievances with honesty in order to build stronger relationships among Nigeria’s diverse ethnic groups.

Muftwang noted that while the events of the civil war cannot be changed, efforts should be made to promote forgiveness, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence. He urged Nigerians to move beyond the divisions of the past and work together for the country’s progress and stability.
