Social justice activist Vincent Otse Martins, known as Verydarkman, has criticised fuji music legend Wasiu Omogbolahan Adewale, popularly called Kwam 1, for his conduct at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. He accused the singer of endangering himself and other passengers by standing in front of a plane.
Verydarkman, in an Instagram video, warned that such actions could have caused severe accidents, including being struck by the plane’s propeller or triggering a collision. He added that in more advanced countries, Kwam 1 might have faced detention for violating aviation safety rules.
He further stressed that air travel depends heavily on punctuality, and Kwam 1’s actions may have caused delays for passengers heading to important events, medical appointments, or life-changing opportunities. The incident has fuelled discussions on the need for stricter adherence to safety and time management in Nigeria’s aviation industry.
