Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, has ordered a thorough investigation into the tragic of a car hit and run yet to be identified driver speeding on the BRT lane along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway fatally that killed a 12-year-old girl and injured her 15-year-old sister at Ogundare bus stop on Monday.
The victims, who were returning from school, sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Orile-Agege General Hospital. The younger sister succumbed to her injuries, while the older one was transferred to Lagos University Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, urged motorists to observe traffic laws. He also extended condolences to the grieving family, promising swift justice.
