Regina Daniels brother, Samuel Ojeogwu has arraigned by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command on charges including criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, and theft.
Ojeogwu was formally charged in court on November 6, 2025 following the conclusion of investigations in the case originated from a petition filed on October 28, 2025 and the court ordered his remand pending the fulfilment of bail conditions. The police emphasized their commitment to professionalism and adherence to due process throughout the case.
A statement issued by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that, despite multiple invitations for questioning, Ojeogwu did not appear before the police, prompting his arrest in Lagos and subsequent transfer to Abuja for investigation.
According to reports, the incident has drawn significant public attention due to the his relationship with Regina Daniels. The arrest coincides with widespread reports of marital conflict between Regina and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
A viral video surfaced showing Regina emotionally distressed over her brother’s detention, repeatedly saying “I will go back,” suggesting deep emotional strain.
