Portable Challenges VeryDarkMan to a Street Fight Amid Escalating Feud

The rift between controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, and outspoken activist Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has taken a dramatic turn as Portable publicly challenged VDM to a street fight. The conflict began after Portable criticized VDM for frequently attacking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over Nigeria’s worsening economic conditions. He also accused VDM of exploiting the death of late singer Mohbad to gain online popularity.

In retaliation, VeryDarkMan dropped a diss track titled ‘Ole’ (Thief), targeting Portable and referencing past allegations that the singer had stolen a tricycle and some mobile phones. The track also made mention of Portable’s run-ins with the police. In response, Portable released his own diss track, and both entertainers have since continued to trade insults and accusations on social media.

The situation intensified when Portable, in a video message, declared he was ready to take things offline and settle the matter physically. He dismissed the idea of a boxing match, insisting instead on a no-holds-barred street fight. According to the singer, a boxing ring with its safety equipment would restrict the fight, while a street fight would allow for full expression, even using crude weapons like planks.

Despite Portable’s aggressive challenge, VeryDarkMan has yet to publicly respond. The ongoing drama between the two public figures continues to generate significant attention online, with fans and critics alike watching to see whether this clash will escalate further or fizzle out.
