In Lagos, 20-year-old Kehinde was lured through WhatsApp and abducted by criminals demanding ₦500,000 ransom. Prompt police action led to the arrest of three suspects and the safe recovery of the victim.

In Katsina State, police operatives responded to a kidnapping attempt in Mazare village. Engaging the abductors in a gunfight, they overpowered the criminals who fled with gunshot injuries. The operation led to the safe rescue of four victims. The police reaffirmed their readiness to protect lives and property through aggressive and intelligence-led strategies.
Similarly, in Kogi State, a suspicious Nissan vehicle heading toward Auchi was intercepted by officers from the Okene Division. The driver abandoned the vehicle and escaped into the forest. A search of the vehicle uncovered an AK-47 rifle, 28 rounds of ammunition, a G3 magazine, and other personal items, pointing to possible criminal activity.
