Fast-rising rap artist Tochuckwu Ojogwu, who goes by the name Odumodublvck, recently shared his list of the top 5 legendary Nigerian rappers of all time during an interview on Beat 99.9FM.
According to Odumodublvck, MI Abaga obtains the top spot on his list, with Mode Nine coming in a close second. Jesse Jagz, Vector, and Naeto C round out the remaining positions on his list.
He stressed that MI Abaga earned the first position due to his ability to convince people that rap music can be both rhythmic and melodious.
Odumodublvck also performed a few of the mentioned rappers’ hit songs.
To support his point, Odumodublvck stated that Mode Nine made a significant contribution to the music industry.
When asked why Mode Nine wasn’t his first choice, the rapper noted that he could not accomplish the cultural achievements made by MI.
He further stated that Naeto C could have been in second place but he took a hiatus from music.
He added that he picked Vector because he respects the artist very much.
