NASU Issues Seven-Day Strike Ultimatum to WAEC Over Workers’ Welfare

The Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) has given the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) a seven-day ultimatum to address its four-point demand concerning workers’ welfare and alleged victimisation of labour leaders.

Speaking at a press briefing in Lagos on Monday, NASU’s General Secretary, Prince Peters Adeyemi, warned that failure to meet their demands would lead to a nationwide shutdown of all WAEC offices starting Monday, March 24.

He stressed that the union is committed to protecting the rights and well-being of its members and expects immediate action from WAEC management.
