Dr. Abimbola Bowale, Permanent Secretary of Health District IV, has reaffirmed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to expanding healthcare access across Lagos State. Speaking on the Citizens’ Gate radio program, Bowale highlighted the state’s goal of establishing a primary healthcare center in every ward.

He praised the division of Lagos into six health districts as a transformative move that has enhanced efficiency in the health sector.
He commended the dedication of district Permanent Secretaries and emphasized the joint responsibility of state and local governments in managing health centers. Bowale assured that no community, including riverine and remote areas, would be left behind.
To reinforce this commitment, the state recently recruited over 200 healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
