Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto of Sokoto State said his administration remain deeply committed to infrastructure that empowers individuals, policies that uplift communities, and partnerships that deliver lasting value to the people of Sokoto State.
Governor Sokoto stated this on Monday together with Governor Ahmed Ododo of Kogi State laid the foundation for the Sokoto New City Housing Project. This ambitious initiative is designed to address the housing deficit and promote inclusive urban development to celebrate two-year achievement in governanc in state.
Governor Sokoto said the transformative project, consisting of 500 modern housing units, represents more than just construction; it is a significant investment in the dignity, stability, and prosperity of our people.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State who served as the guest of nonsurgical at the event commissioned the 7.7 km Gande–Male–Gwahitto–Fako Road in Silame LGA, a project executed under the RAAMP.
“This vital roadway is designed to enhance rural connectivity and boost agricultural productivity in the Binji and Silame Local Government Areas”, Governor Sokoto stated.
