Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) by N65, bringing the price down from N890 to N825 per litre, effective February 27, 2025.

The adjustment aims to ease financial burdens on Nigerians, particularly in preparation for the Ramadan season, and aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic recovery policy.
This marks the second price reduction in February 2025, following an earlier N60 decrease. In December 2024, the refinery had also lowered PMS prices by N70.50, from N970 to N899.50 per litre.
Despite the ex-depot price drop, retail prices will vary across regions, with MRS Holdings stations selling at N860 per litre in Lagos, N870 in the South-West, N880 in the North, and N890 in the South-South and South-East.
