Court Grants Restraining Order Against Rapper DDG Over Abuse Allegations by Halle Bailey

A Los Angeles court has granted actress and singer Halle Bailey a domestic violence restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, rapper DDG (Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.). The order requires DDG to stay at least 100 yards away from Bailey and prohibits him from making public comments about her or their child. Bailey also received court approval to travel to Italy with their 18-month-old son, Halo, for a two-month film shoot.

Bailey filed court documents alleging that a January 2025 encounter with DDG became violent during a disagreement over visitation arrangements. She claimed DDG shouted aggressively while she was securing their son in a car seat, which frightened the child. Additional evidence, including a video of DDG damaging her ring camera and throwing her phone, along with photos of a bruised arm and chipped tooth, were presented to support her claims.

The former couple ended their relationship in October 2024. The restraining order was issued amid growing concerns about DDG’s behavior, with Bailey emphasizing the need for protection due to ongoing threats and aggression.
