Nigerian actress and entrepreneur Aisha Lawal has strongly denied claims that she received a Toyota Venza car as a gift from Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, the national chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW). The allegation originated from a viral social media video featuring Baba Bistijabah, another leader in the NURTW, who alleged that MC Oluomo collected a car from him and gave it to Lawal.

In response, Aisha Lawal dismissed the claim as completely false during her appearance on the “Talk to B” show. She clarified that she has never driven a Venza in her life and has no interest in the vehicle, stating instead that she drives a Lexus GX 460. Lawal expressed disbelief at the allegation, suggesting that the man making the claim might not be in his right frame of mind. She emphasized that while she respects MC Oluomo for his contributions to people she knows, she has never benefited from him in such a way.
Revealing the true source of her wealth, Lawal credited her financial breakthrough to the COVID-19 pandemic era, describing it as a turning point in her life. According to her, she earned ₦10 million in a single week during that period through her own efforts. She insisted that her success came from hard work and perseverance, urging the public to give her due respect rather than associating her achievements with baseless rumors.
