Former SDP presidential candidate Adewole Adebayo has declared that President Bola Tinubu will be defeated in the 2027 elections, asserting that the Social Democratic Party will produce Nigeria’s next leader. Speaking on Arise Television’s The Morning Show, Adebayo confirmed his intention to run again, expressing confidence in securing his party’s ticket despite recent political defections.
His comments follow the defection of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai to the SDP. Adebayo welcomed El-Rufai, praising his effectiveness in governance while reaffirming that his own presidential ambition remains unchanged.
