The victim was rushed to a local health center but died from his injuries. The suspect was arrested at the scene, and the weapon used has been recovered as evidence.
In a separate but related case, authorities confirmed that another suspect and his mother have been placed under protective custody while investigations continue. The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, condemned both incidents and stressed the need for families to seek non-violent resolutions to conflicts.
CP Morris urged citizens to avoid taking the law into their own hands and instead turn to peaceful means and legal channels for conflict resolution. He assured the public that the suspects involved in both cases will be charged to court after thorough investigations are concluded.
