The Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, has reaffirmed the commitment of the FCT Police Command to protecting lives and property, while warning that anyone found engaging in criminal activities would face the full force of the law.

The Police Commissioner issued the warned as part of efforts to maintain peace, security and public order across the nation’s capital, warned individuals involved in criminal activities to stay away from Abuja or return to their places of origin. He emphasized that the police would not tolerate activities capable of threatening the safety of residents and visitors.
The Commissioner urged those involved in acts such as street violence, intimidation, vandalism and other forms of criminality to desist from such activities. He also called on law-abiding residents to cooperate with security agencies by reporting suspicious activities.
