A road accident involving two trucks and several other vehicles occurred around 7 a.m. on Sunday at the NASFAT roundabout in Ogun State. The crash happened when a trailer, attempting to avoid a smaller vehicle, lost control and collided with multiple cars.
Emergency responders, including TRACE, FRSC, and the Police, arrived at the scene to manage traffic and clear the wreckage. One of the trucks, loaded with watermelons, was removed to ease congestion.
Speeding and poor visibility are suspected factors, though investigations are ongoing. Fortunately, only one driver sustained injuries, with no fatalities reported.
