Justice Alexander Owoeye of the Federal High Court in Lagos has temporarily halted the hearing of the case filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against Ezekiel Onyedikachi, also known as Eezee Tee, due to an ongoing administrative procedure.

The EFCC had brought a four-count charge against Onyedikachi for alleged fraudulent conversion. At Thursday’s hearing, senior lawyers Chikaosolu Ojukwu (SAN) and Dr. Monday Ubani (SAN) represented Onyedikachi, while Bilikisu Buhari appeared for the EFCC.
Justice Owoeye informed the court that he could not make any pronouncement on the case until the administrative procedure was completed. He also denied a request from Onyedikachi’s counsel to maintain the status quo until then.
The case has been adjourned until May 14.
