Widows under the Delta State Widows Welfare Scheme have expressed gratitude to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori following the prompt payment of their October stipends.
State Coordinator of the Scheme, Chief Isioma Okonta said payments to all 10,000 verified widows were completed between 19th and 21st October, in line with the Governor’s directive. He praised the Governor’s consistency, noting the initiative brings hope and relief to vulnerable women.
With full enrollment completed, the Free Health Care Service Registration is also nearing completion, offering additional support to widows. Many beneficiaries prayed for God’s guidance and strength for the Governor as he continues to uplift Deltans.
