Two soldiers attached to the Vonvoy of Honourable Jafar Muhammad Ali Damisa, have been killed by suspected bterroists while others including security oppwratives and civilians sustainad injuries when their vehicles convoying a member of the House of Representatives who represents Agwara Borgu federal constituency of Niger state.
His police orderly, driver and two soldiers were shot during the encounter. The two soldiers died while the orderly and driver are receiving treatment. The lawmaker escaped unhurt.
The convoy came under heavy gunfire at Audu Farl village. He was on his way to visit his constituents in Babanna when he was attacked.
