Tinubu to Depart Abuja May 27 for ECOWAS at 50, to Inaugurate Major Projects in Lagos

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Tuesday, May 27, for Lagos to join other West African leaders in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

As part of his visit, the President will inaugurate several major infrastructure projects on Saturday, May 31, including Section I of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Lekki Deep Sea Port Tax Credit Concrete Road. He will also flag off Section II of the Coastal Highway and the 7th Axial Road.

Additionally, President Tinubu will virtually commission key road projects across the country, such as the Kano-Kanwar-Danja-Hadejiya Section II Road, Yakasai-Zalli Road, the Kano Northern Bypass, and sections of the Zaria-Hunkuyi-Dabai and Malumfashi-Dayi-Yashe-Gidan Mutum Daya corridors.

He is expected to observe the Eid-el-Kabir prayers at Dodan Barracks in Lagos before returning to Abuja.
