The police in Ogun State arrested a teenager, Olamide Phillips, for allegedly stabbing his friend, Moses Odeh, during a fight. The incident happened on Sunday evening on Obalende Street in Isara.
Reports say that the fight started after Phillips’ mother told Odeh’s father that Phillips had stolen ₦5,000 from her bank account. While Phillips’ father was scolding him, Odeh walked in, and a fight broke out between the two friends.
Despite their parents trying to stop them, Phillips grabbed a sharp object and stabbed Odeh in the stomach. Odeh was taken to a hospital but died the next day due to his injuries.
