Senate President Godswill Akpabio has instructed his legal team to drop all lawsuits against Senator Natasha and several other individuals. He made this announcement during a New Year service at Sacred Heart Parish in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Akpabio revealed that he had previously filed nearly nine court cases accusing these individuals of defamation and slander against him. However, after hearing a sermon during the service, he had a change of heart.
The message from the priest inspired Akpabio to forgive those who had wronged him. As a result, he decided to discontinue all legal actions against them.
He formally directed his solicitors to withdraw the lawsuits, emphasizing his willingness to move past the conflicts as part of his New Year resolution.
