An IT engineer with a government bank, Manjeet Mishra, an iwas shot dead by assassins allegedly hired by his wife Megha Rathore and her brother Sachin Rathore in Noida, India.
According to reports, Manjeet was a happy go lucky man who met his wife Megha eight years ago during college and their relationship began got married on the 28th of January, 2024 even though their parents were not in agreement of their marriage.
The report stated that, soon after Manjeet and Megha’s wedding, Manjeets father died in a fatal accident, Megha and her brother started pressuring him to get a separate home away from his mother and sister but when Manjeet refused to stay away from his family, Sachin, Megha’s brother threatened to kill him and was murdered on the 21st of February 2025.
His family revealed that he had a love-cum arranged marriage with a Delhi based woman after 8 years relationship but two weeks into their marriage, the relationship Soured as she women told him she want them to live separately from his family, citing disliking his family and culture as she returned to her family. Few days later, he received a court notice for Domestic violence, dowry, maintenance allowance and also demanded 1 Crore from as Alimony saying she wants to study abroad ecen though her family was financially stronger.
Manjeet was murdered on the day he was going to hand over evidence to his lawyer.
Sachin, Megha’s brother have been arrested but Megha is yet to be arrested.
