In a public outcry posted on her verified Instagram page, the actress questioned law enforcement authorities over his continued detention for more than 24 hours, urging them to provide answers. She stated her immediate priority is to confirm her brother’s safety.
Regina also criticized the alleged inaction of high-ranking police officers, expressing shock that senior officials claimed to be unable to intervene in the matter. Despite facing ridicule online, she maintained her resolve, insisting that she would not be intimidated, and vowed to continue pushing for her brother’s release.
The controversy intensified after Regina’s elder brother, Lawrence Daniels, accused Regina’s husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of orchestrating Sammy’s arrest. Lawrence claimed that the senator allegedly vowed not to release Sammy unless Regina returned home.
