Trump’s decision to share an AI-generated image of himself dressed as the Pope has sparked a range of criticism around the world.
Some have criticized the image as disrespectful, especially given the timing during the Church’s mourning period, emphasized that it’s bordering on insulting the Catholic community. “The picture of Trump as pope was inappropriate. He should apologize to the faithful that support him.”
While others believed President Trump is using the image to comment on the historical lack of American representation in the papacy and he’s letting them know he’s sitting on their throne, in their robes.
