President of the Association of Muslim league scholars, Mohammed Al-Issa met with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to expressed his appreciation for his patronage of the launch of the Muslim World League’s initiative for social peace in West Africa, as well as his full support for its historic outcome, the adoption of the “Abuja Declaration.”

In a ost he shared on X, Al-Issa wrote: ” I was delighted to meet this afternoon with H.E. Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, at the State House in Abuja.”
Accirding to his post, the Declaratio included a plan for joint action among government institutions, solidarity between Muslim and Christian religious leaders, and civil society organizations, as well as the establishment of a coordinating body for religious and civic leaders and institutions in West Africa to follow up on the implementation of the commitments under the aforementioned action plan.
