The family of Inspector Ajele Oloyede, a Nigeria Police Force operative, is mourning his death following a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a ceramics company in Igbesa, Ogun State. Authorities are investigating whether the incident was intentional or accidental.

A fellow officer, Tolorunloju Stephen, discovered Oloyede resting his head on a table shortly before hearing a gunshot. Despite immediate medical attention, Oloyede was pronounced dead at Ota General Hospital. His body has been sent for autopsy, and the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further inquiry.
