The FCT Police Command has confirmed that Ilebaye Odiniya Emmanul’s father is currently in police custody following her rescue and her two younger brothers from an alleged domestic violence incident in Abuja.
The police stated that, they received a distress report around 12:00 a.m. and immediately responded to the scene, but met the gate locked on arrival.
The police revealed that several attempts were allegedly made to prevent officers from entering the compound, including the release of aggressive dogs. However, they eventually gained access to the house at about 2:30 a.m.
Officers reportedly found Ilebaye with visible bruises and rescued her alongside her brothers. She was immediately taken to NNPC Hospital in Abuja, where she received medical treatment.
According to the Command, Ilebaye, alongside her brothers Godson Emmanuel Odiniya (14) and Devin Emmanuel Odiniya (10), were rushed to Yabisam Hospital, Lugbe, for medical attention after the incident.
