The Ondo State Police Command has apprehended a three-member syndicate involved in child stealing and trafficking.

The suspects include a 62-year-old buyer, Sabira Izuorah, from Anambra State, and a couple, Isiaka and Abosede Lukman, from Oyo State. The arrests followed a report of a missing child in Akure.
Investigations revealed the couple abducted children from Ondo and Osun States, selling them to Izuorah for ₦1 million per child. Police recovered 14 children, including four babies and ten children aged two to seven. The couple were traced to Edo State, while Izuorah was arrested in Anambra with four babies in her custody.
