North East Development Commission Records More Developmental Investments Across Yobe State

In a strategic interventions to improving access to education, healthcare while also enhancing security and economic activities through improved lighting infrastructure, the North East Development Commission (NEDC) continues to make significant developmental investments across Yobe State through the construction of schools, bridges, health facilities, housing units, and mega water projects, alongside the installation of streetlights in several key communities.

The Commission remains committed to rebuilding lives, strengthening infrastructure, and accelerating sustainable development across Yobe State.

Among the notable projects are the construction of a gigantic bridge along the Gujba highway, the ongoing construction of the 54-kilometre road from Ngalda to Mutai, the reconstruction of the 90-kilometre Damaturu–Mazga road, the construction of Mega Schools across the state, provision of boats to Nguru community, and the establishment of a massive water facility in Buni Gari.

Other interventions include the construction of modern markets, healthcare facilities across different communities, electricity projects, boreholes, and several other infrastructure developments.

The people of Yobe State commend the Managing Director of the Commission, Mohammed Alkali Goni, the Director of Administration and Finance Dr. Garba Iliya, the State Coordinator Professor Ali Ibrahim Abbas, and the entire management team of the Commission for their dedication and commitment to the development of the state.
