Nigerian Air Force to Hold Aerial Display in Lagos for 61st Anniversary Finale

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is set to conclude its 61st anniversary celebrations with a grand finale in Lagos on May 23, highlighted by an impressive aerial display of its aircraft. The event promises to be both a ceremonial and operational showcase of the Air Force’s capabilities.

According to Squadron Leader Abigail Ologun, spokesperson for the Logistics Command, preparations for the aerial performance will begin with rehearsals on Thursday and are expected to end by Friday. The display is designed not only to mark the anniversary with glamour but also to demonstrate the combat readiness and professionalism of the NAF.

The public has been urged to remain calm and continue their daily activities without fear, as the aerial manoeuvres may cause unusual aircraft movements and sounds. The Nigerian Air Force assured citizens that all safety protocols are in place and there is no cause for alarm during the celebration.
