Hugo Broos, the head coach of South Africa, has expressed his intention to capitalize on the vulnerabilities of the Super Eagles during their upcoming semi-final match at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The game is scheduled to take place at the Stade de la Paix in Bouake on Wednesday evening.
According to reports, this will be the first encounter between these two nations since Nigeria eliminated Bafana Bafana in the semi-finals at AFCON 2000.
Broos stated during a press conference that “we know now that it will be Nigeria; we are in the semifinal, so from tomorrow we start analyzing and we will see how we can exploit this team’s weaknesses while also being mindful of their strengths.”
He added that “for both teams, this match holds particular significance because they will face each other again for World Cup qualifiers in a few months’ time; thus, it could serve as an examination for both sides.”
