The Gabonese Football Federation has confirmed the tragic dead of it’s national team striker, Aaron Boupendza reportedly falling off from the 11th floor building in China.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Gabonese Football Federation federation stated that, Boupendza, 28, was playing for a Chinese side Zhejiang, having moved from Rapid Bucharest earlier this year.
“At 28, Boupendza is remembered as a great striker who left a lasting impression at the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon in 2022.
“Trained at CF Mounana and Bordeaux in France, the Gabonese striker joined the Chinese league after a brief spell in Romania”, the Federation said in a statement.
