The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ondo State has handed over goods worth over N10 million to the victims of a recent road accident, showcasing the agency’s commitment to transparency and integrity.

Speaking during the handover in Akure, Sector Commander Dr. Samuel Ibitoye said the items—mostly bags containing fabrics and other valuables—were recovered from an accident that occurred on March 23 at Igbara-Oke in Ifedore LGA. The crash involved a commercial bus and a trailer, caused by speeding, which led to a rear-end collision.
Thankfully, no lives were lost, though several passengers sustained serious injuries.
The goods, transported from Kano to Ibadan, were returned to the rightful owners through a union leader. “Even if it’s a pin in the vehicle, FRSC will ensure it is returned to its owner,” Ibitoye assured, reinforcing the Corps’ dedication to honesty and public trust.
