A midnight fire ravaged parts of Aleshinloye Market in Ibadan, Oyo State, destroying properties worth millions of Naira.
The General Manager of Oyo State Fire Service, Yemi Akinyinka, confirmed the incident, stating that firefighters were still working to contain the damage. He acknowledged the support of SWEETCO and Sumal, whose teams assisted in the firefighting efforts.
The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire are yet to be determined.
