FG Committed to Deliver Efficient and Quality Health System for Nigerians – Patte

The coordinating minister of health and social welfare, Muhammad Ali Patte said the various health professionals are core to the dynamic ecosystem the Ministry are building to deliver an efficient, equitable and quality health system for the overall well-being of Nigeria’s population.

Dr. Patte stated this during the Ministry’s meetings with the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), the EXCO of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), and the National Association of Community Health Practitioners CHPs Community Health Practitioner Registration Board in Abuja recently.

He said the meeting served to reassure the unions of the government’s abiding commitment to strive towards improving their welfare, and indeed, wellbeing of all Nigerians.

“In line with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu genuine orientation to fostering cordial labour relations, the federal mministry of health champions policies that support favorable medical practice and conducive working conditions for all health workers and professionals. We know that when doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and other health workers have favorable working conditions, they are more likely to provide high-quality care to their patients.

“We have taken note of your demands and will do our best to address the pertinent issues of strengthened practice regulation, governance, training / skills upscaling, funding, welfare enhancement, and better workplaces.

“We appreciate and count on  your continuous support and collaboration which have resulted in the beginning of an expected era of  harmony in the sector.”
