Boxing analysts have cautioned Anthony Joshua against facing YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, warning it could damage his credibility. Paul recently called out Joshua, with reports suggesting a potential 2026 fight. Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, confirmed his interest.

However, former European champion Spencer Oliver insists Joshua should focus on reclaiming the heavyweight title first, saying: “If he does it now, he loses all credibility.” He acknowledged Paul’s ability to generate massive revenue but stressed that Joshua should only consider the fight later in his career.
Paul, who recently moved to heavyweight, has been vocal about facing Joshua, claiming the former champion “has no chin and no skill.” Despite the hype, experts believe Joshua should prioritize his legacy over a high-profile exhibition bout.
