The chairman of the Economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC) has ordered the arrest of his officials after a video of them went viral.
The Efcc officials was seen in the video assaulting an unknown woman, believed to be an employee of a hotel which they stormed into, The woman was seen trying unlock the door from the inside as the men forcibly opened it and assaulted her then made away with some of her belongings
Oyewale mentioned that the event occurred during a dawn operation designed to apprehend wrongdoers.
He said, “The EFCC’s boss has also ordered detailed investigations of the operation carried out at the hotel and assured that appropriate disciplinary measures would be taken against any of the officers found to be culpable,”
