Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State has been hailed for midwifing the economic diversification of the North-Central with especially public private partnerships. This comes as president, Bola Tinubu on Friday commissioned Lithium processing factory in Nasarawa State, built by Avatar New Energy Materials Company Limited, a Chinese firm, in collaboration with the Nasarawa State Government.

The ceremony took place at Kama Otto in Nasarawa Local Government Area, with the President represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
In his address, President Tinubu hailed the commissioning of Avatar New Energy Materials Company Limited as a shining example of effective partnership between the Federal Government, State government, and investors.

He emphasized that the establishment of the Lithium company would create numerous opportunities for youth and position Nigeria as a significant player in the global Lithium market, with an estimated production of 4,000 tones per day.

Meanwhile, Governor Sule, credited President Tinubu and the local communities for their support, stating that it would not have been possible to open up the State to investment without them. Commending security agencies for their efforts in securing the state for investments to thrive.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo, Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dele Alake, Federal and State lawmakers, former State governors, traditional rulers, the chairman of the Avatar group and other investors.
