the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and incubant Hovernor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo has been declared the winner of Anambra Governorship Election.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), a total of 584,054 votes were recorded across the state on Saturday, November 8.
INEC stated that Soludo secured a commanding victory with 422,664 votes, far ahead of his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 99,445 votes. Other results include ADC: 8,208 votes and PDP: 1,401 votes.
State Collation Officer and Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Prof. Edogah Omoregie, announced the figures after the collation exercise this morning at the commission’s headquarters in Awka.
