Bandits Claims Responsibility for School Attacks And Abductions of Students In Kebbi, Nigeria State

A video of an armed terrorist group circulating on social media have claimed responsibility for the recent attacks and abductions of students in Kebbi and Niger States, while vowing to launch more attacks on soldiers and political leaders.

In the footage, an armed man speaking Hausa boasts that the government cannot stop their operations, further heightening fears across affected regions.

The video emerged shortly after the kidnapping of 25 schoolgirls in Kebbi and the abduction of over 300 students and 12 teachers from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Niger State.

These incidents underline the continuing escalation of terrorism and banditry in the northern region, where communities are increasingly vulnerable to attacks.
