The Confederation of African Football CAF, has named the gosl scored by Super Eagles striker Akor Adams against Algeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) among the top five goals of the tournament.

The list, compiled by CAF on the TotalEnergies AFCON 2025 𝕏 handle on Thursday, featured Adams’ memorable strike from Nigeria’s quarter-final clash with Algeria, received continental recognition.
Adams’ goal, which showcased his precision, composure and technical quality, came in a tense encounter that saw the Super Eagles record a 2-0 victory over the North Africans.
