Gunmen abducted Eniola Ojajuni, the National President of the Afenifere Youth Council, in Abuja on February 17, after shooting him twice in the buttocks. The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N100 million for his release.

In a statement, National Secretary Abiodun Aderohunmu expressed deep concern for Ojajuni’s safety and urged the Federal Government and security agencies to intervene. He also called on Nigerians with relevant information to assist in securing his release.
A council member, speaking anonymously, confirmed that the kidnappers remain firm on their ransom demand. This incident adds to the growing insecurity in the country, with several high-profile kidnappings in recent months.
